Your feedback during consultation and the results of our technical investigations have led to the development of a design that relocates the Bridge Inn Road intersection to the north-east of its current position.
This design preserves the two heritage-listed River Red Gum trees on the north-east corner of the intersection. It also allows us to retain the old Doreen Post Office building and avoid impacting the two businesses on the south east corner of the intersection.
Traffic lights will be installed at the intersection. This will make it safer and easier to access Bridge Inn Road and Doctors Gully Road, as well as improve traffic flow at the intersection.
