The Victorian Government invested $4 million to build the new Yarram Integrated Health Centre.
The centre brings together a range of community health services under one roof, including allied health, community support, general practitioner services, mental health and pathology services.
The $5.93 million project was made possible via $4 million contribution from Regional Health Infrastructure Fund (RHIF) and $1.93 million from Yarram and District Health Service.
The $490 million fund is the largest grant program of its kind in Victorian history. It provides vital government funding to rural and regional public health and residential aged care services across Victoria. This funding enables these services to continue to provide safe and efficient care to local communities.
