Plans to upgrade the Thompsons Road and Berwick-Cranbourne Road intersection in Clyde North are underway.

As part of the project we’ll:

• replace the roundabout at the Thompsons Road and Berwick-Cranbourne Road intersection with traffic signals
• add additional through lanes and dedicated turning lanes to increase capacity and improve traffic flow
• build new walking and cycling paths to improve connections through the area
• upgrade several bus stops at the intersection to improve commuter safety.

This project will build on the significant improvements delivered by Victoria’s Big Build in Melbourne’s southeast in recent years, in particular upgrades to Thompsons Road, O’Shea Road, and the Monash Freeway, as well as the Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road Upgrade which is on track to be completed later this year.
