We're building a $36 million alcohol and other drugs treatment facility for Mildura.

The residential rehabilitation facility will be located at 13 Jenner Street in Merbein.

The new residential rehabilitation facility means people seeking alcohol and drug treatment and support in Mildura and the Mallee can get the help they need without needing to travel long distances or leave the local support networks they rely on. It will be the first facility of its kind in the region.

Once complete, the facility is expected to support around 200 people each year.
