The Victorian Government is investing $54.38 million to build a new aged care facility in Numurkah.
Operated by Nathalia, Cobram and Numurkah (NCN) Health, the new facility will replace the Pioneers Memorial Lodge to deliver the new facility.
Each resident in the new facility will have a single bedroom and private ensuite, promoting dignity, privacy and independence.
The new Numurkah aged care facility is part of the Victorian Government’s Regional and Rural Public Sector Residential Aged Care Services Revitalisation Strategy. The strategy phases out outdated public sector facilities. Replacing with purpose-built facilities that better meet community expectations and enable contemporary models of aged care.
