Metropolitan Health Infrastructure Fund

The Metropolitan Health Infrastructure Fund (MHIF) provides vital government funding to city and suburban health services and agencies across Melbourne.

The fund, valued at $265 million overall, was established in 2020. It was created to:

• improve the safety and quality of services
• enhance service capacity and efficiency
• support contemporary models of care
• improve patient and staff amenity.

The Metropolitan Health Infrastructure Fund has provided $265 million to 110 projects across Melbourne to date.
