The $9.7 million Healthy Community Access Hub in Kyneton is now complete.
The project brings vital community health and family services together under one roof, providing better access to healthcare for people in the Macedon Ranges Shire and surrounding communities.
The purpose-built hub offers 13 consult rooms for allied health, counselling, paediatric and family services. E-health technology is available to help link patients in remote areas with the healthcare they need. The hub also provides community meeting spaces and dedicated areas for youth and children’s services.
This project was funded through the Regional Health Infrastructure Fund (RHIF). The $490 million fund is the largest grant program of its kind in Victorian history. It provides vital government funding to rural and regional public health and residential aged care services across Victoria. This funding enables these services to continue to provide safe and efficient care to local communities.
