                <p>A new shared walking and cycling path will be built along the eastern side of Williamsons Road between Porter Street and Foote Street. This will connect to the existing shared use path on Fitzsimons Lane north of Porter Street, providing improved connectivity, access and safety for pedestrians and cyclists.</p><p>To build the shared use path we will have to make some small changes to the existing mound just south of Porter Street, however we will not reduce the height of the mound.  </p><p>Where removal of existing vegetation is unavoidable, we will plant semi-mature trees of approximately 1.8m in height to replace as much of the canopy as possible. </p>
