From Tuesday 17 May 2022 we implemented a permanent right turn ban out of Hawtin Street onto Foote Street. We changed the right turn out of Hawtin Street to be left turn out only. This change is necessary to reduce the risk of side impact collisions or T-bone crashes. This means you will need to turn left out of Hawtin Street and perform a U-turn at the dedicated bay further east along Foote Street. This change is necessary in the interest of safety of all road users.

The right turn into Hawtin Street from Foote Street will be retained.
