We’re adding extra lanes, building a centre median and installing safety barriers along Craigieburn Road. This means there’ll be some changes to how you access Bicentennial Park and Craigieburn Sporting Club.

Access to these local facilities will be left in, left out only.

Removing right turns makes it safer for all road users by avoiding cars crossing multiple lanes of traffic and improves traffic flow by reducing queuing.

To enter and access the park and club when travelling from Mickleham:

• Continue past the park and club entry
• U-turn at Cimberwood Drive
• Turn left into the park and club driveway.

To travel from the park and club towards Hume Highway:

• Turn left in to Craigieburn Road
• U-turn at Dorchester Street or Lygon Street intersections.

This change is necessary to improve safety and traffic flow along Craigieburn Road.
