We’re building a centre median along Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road and installing safety barriers. This means there’ll be some access changes at Island Road.

Access to Island Road will be left in, left out only.

Removing right turns makes it safer for all road users by avoiding cars crossing multiple lanes of traffic and improves traffic flow by reducing queuing.

To enter Island Road when travelling from Pakenham:

• Continue past Island Road
• U-turn at the Manks Road roundabout
• Turn left into Island Road.

To travel from Island Road towards Koo Wee Rup:

• Turn left
• U-turn at the new roundabout at Ballarto Road.

This change is required to improve safety and traffic flow.
