The intersection of Racecourse Road, Campbell Street and Railway Avenue will be upgraded to a traffic light controlled intersection, and has been designed as per the below:

• intersection of Racecourse Road and Railway Avenue designed for right and left turns by articulated buses up to 19m long
• intersection of Campbell Street and Racecourse Road designed for right and left turns by vehicles up to the size of B-double trucks (26m)
• intersection of Racecourse Road and Campbell Street is designed to allow U-turns for both south and northbound passenger vehicles up to 5.2 metres long .
