We're building a well-lit, 6-metre-wide pedestrian underpass at Braeside Park to maintain the important connection to the Woodlands Industrial Estate.

We've also redesigned the fences next to Braeside Park to be longer and taller to help minimise impacts to local wildlife, while crossings under the road will help wildlife move between the park and wetland areas.

We'll plant a mix of Indigenous and Native trees including Coastal Manna Gums, Narrow Leaved Peppermint Gums, and Blackwoods with shrubs and grasses in this area.
