Major works are well underway to build this new bridge over the Campaspe River.
We’ve designed the new bridge over the Campaspe River to seamlessly integrate with the surrounding natural environment, with a clear span over the river so that we minimise environmental disturbance to the waterway and aquatic habitat.
The new Campaspe River crossing will be 293 metres long and will consist of eight spans, including a 45-metre-long steel box girder. We’re also building a separate shared walking and cycling bridge across the river which will connect to the walking and cycling path network being built as part of the project, providing you with a safe and scenic journey between Echuca and Moama.
