December 2021 - January 2022 Construction Update

Since our last update we’ve started installing traffic barriers along the new bridge over the Murray River. We’ve planted trees throughout Victoria Park in Echuca to promote wildlife habitat, and we’re also installing seven squirrel glider crossings over and under the new roadway.

In December and January, we’ll continue:

• installing traffic barriers along the project alignment
• laying asphalt across the project and installing noise walls
• landscaping in Echuca and Moama.

Most works will take place from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 7am to 1pm, Saturdays.

Throughout December, some works such as barrier installation and concrete pours will be undertaken outside of these hours. This will ensure that works can be completed during daylight hours and while temperatures are cooler.

We’ll be monitoring these works to ensure impacts are kept to a minimum.

The timing of our works may change depending on weather and site conditions.
